CISM is pleased to announce that its Secretary General, Antonio De Simone, has been elected as a new member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei.
Election to the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei is among the highest distinctions conferred within the Italian scientific and academic community.
Founded in 1603, the Accademia is one of the oldest scientific academies in the world and one of Italy’s foremost institutions for the advancement of knowledge. Membership is granted through co-optation following a rigorous selection process based on outstanding scientific and scholarly achievements.
Antonio De Simone’s election represents a significant recognition of his distinguished scientific career and contributions to the international academic community.
